Richard Kretchmer (March 18, 1950 –) is an artist and historian. The painter of such works as The Meadow Path, he is also the author of Llanfyllin: A Pictorial History. Richard Kretchmer currently lives near Llanfyllin in Wales.

Kretchmer has written Llanfyllin: A Pictorial History, published in April 1992 by the Powysland Club and Llanfyllin and District Civic Society.[1] He has also collaborated with Melvin Humphreys on Llanfyllin: Portrait of an Age, published 2002.[2]
