Richard John Brandes

Richard John "RJ" Brandes is an American businessman. He was the founder and CEO of Belgravia Capital, a middle market commercial finance and real estate mortgage bank which was acquired by the Finova Group (ticker symbol: FNV) in 1997. Belgravia was, in 1996, the 6th largest mortgage lender in the country. Brandes also founded Blenheim Equisports, which hosts some of the most prominent show-jumping, equitation, and dressage exhibitions in California. Blenheim facilities host 14 Grand Prix events a year and in 2004 hosted the Olympic Trials.[1] Arnold Schwarzenegger, Valery Gergiev, Mary-Kate Olsen and others have attended or participated in his horse shows. He currently lives in Newport Beach, California with his wife, Gloria Brandes and daughter, Katharine Brandes.
