Richard Perry is currently the program director of KHKK 104.1 The Hawk Modesto, California. Richard was on KDJK 95.1FM Oakdale, California as co-host of the morning show with Beaver Brown. When KDJK was sold in 1994 to Mondosphere Broadcasting, they changed the format from Album Oriented Rock (AOR) to Alternative Rock, They dumped all of the staff with the exception of Richard Perry who then was the production director and did the local news bits during the syndicated Mark & Brian Show in the morning. In 1996, KDJK was sold again, this time to Citadel Broadcasting. KDJK moved over to Citadel's 103.9FM which serves Merced and simulcasts the classic rock 104.1 The Hawk. Richard Perry was elevated to program director of The Hawk and has his own show following The Bob & Tom Show.
