Richard Holmsen, born 1972, is the singer/guitarist of the Norwegian rock band Delaware. He has released two albums with Delaware, "...and everything reminds me" (Sony Columbia) from 2003 and "Lost in the beauty of innocence" (Strangeways records) from 2006. Holmsen started his career in Beyond, a local band from his hometown Drammen together with several of the members who play in Delaware today. Beyond released one album, "Icons" (1997), and recorded their second, "Polyphonic" (1999) before the band disbanded. "Polyphonic" was never officially released.
The recent years, Richard Holmsen has started working on his solo-project, and he has played several acoustic gigs with his songs.
In 2008 Richard Holmsen prepares music for Delaware's third album, and he also works on songs for his own solo-project.
