Richard H. Faught Memorial Stakes

The Richard H. Faught Memorial Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 5 furlongs (1,006 metres) at the Curragh during the Irish Derby meeting in late June or early July.
It was first run in 2001 and like the Irish Derby it has been regularly sponsored by Budweiser. In 2002 it took place on the same day as the FIFA World Cup Final and titled the FIFA World Cup Stakes. The race was promoted to Group 3 status in 2008 having previously been contested at Listed level.
