Richard Gwyn is a Welsh writer of fiction, non-fiction and poetry. His works have been translated into many languages and he has had successful relations with the art and music communities of Europe.[1]
After studying anthropology in England, he began to travel extensively across Europe. His experiences catalyzed his interest in creative writing, and in 1995, two books of his poetry were published. After having published two more books of poetry, he wrote two books on health, a subject he had been interested in since 1993.[2]
His first work of fiction, The Colour of a Dog Running Away, set in Barcelona, has received critical acclaim for its quality and originality. His second novel, Deep Hanging Out, set in Crete, was published in 2007.[3]
