Richard Green (soccer)

Richard Green was a U.S. soccer defender who earned one cap with the U.S. national teamin a 1-0 win over Poland on August 12, 1973. He replaced Art Martinich at halftime.[1] Green, and most of his team mates, were from the second division American Soccer League after the first division North American Soccer League (NASL) refused to release players for the game.[2] He went on to play for the Chicago Sting of the NASL in 1975 and 1976.[3]
