[edit] Career

He was mainly associated with Kent but also represented Surrey and All-England. He was noted as "a very fine field and catch" [1].

[edit] Personal life

Fielder was a horse trainer who, in 1792, eloped with a Miss Cage, of Milgate, near Maidstone. Apparently she was one of his riding pupils. Afterwards they kept the Woolpack Inn, near Tenterden [1].
