Richard F. Trump was elected Mayor of the City of Hagerstown, Maryland in May of 2005, after many years of service in the community. Dick Trump is the owner of MMGI Publications, which publishes the Valley Revue, seven real estate magazines, and previously co-published the Hagerstown Magazine. He is a member and past president of the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau. He is a member of the Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Hagerstown Committee, the Board of Trustees of the Washington County Free Library, and the City of Hagerstown Board of Zoning Appeals.
On February 1, 2006, Trump sent a letter to the Hagerstown City Council announcing his immediate resignation from office.
