Richard Delgado

Richard Delgado is the University Distinguished Professor of Law & Derrick Bell Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is an expert in civil rights law and critical race theory, a critic of law and literature movement. He has written and co-authored numerous articles and books, many with his wife Jean Stefancic, on law and society.

Professor Delgado received his B.A degree from the University of Washington and his J.D. degree from the University of California-Berkeley (Boalt Hall). He was a professor at the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, Colorado before joining the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
