Richard Coff

Richard Coff is currently the director of Suzuki Music Academy in Davie, Florida. Mr. Coff was one of the first teachers in America to receive training from Shinichi Suzuki. Mr. Shinichi Suzuki (violinist) was the original creator of the Suzuki method.

Coff, a graduate of Boston’s New England Conservatory of Music, began his career in the Conservatory's Preparatory Department. He was one of the youngest faculty members and specialized in training young gifted children using the Suzuki Method.

Coff is listed among "Who's Who in America's Teachers". He has served as a member of the Board of Directors, as vice-president of The City of Ft. Lauderdale Sister Cities International organization, and also chaired the SCI's Children's Arts and Education Committee. Coff is a long-standing member of both the International Suzuki Association and Suzuki Association of the Americas.
