Rich Valley is a rural area in Smyth County, Virginia, United States. In recent years Rich Valley made news by being the home of "Big Tom" from Survivor Africa.[1]

Rich Valley Presbyterian Church is a very small church that dots the countryside. It still occupies the original building and was constructed in 1836.
