[edit] Books and music

Shapero's book Wild Animus was released in 2004. Free copies have been given away as advertisement in big numbers .[4] It is the story of a man whose quest for the foundations of the heart drives him to the Alaskan wilderness where, alone with his dangerous ideas, he transforms himself into a wild creature pursued by a pack of strangely familiar wolves.

A CD called The Ram that is conceptually linked to Wild Animus was released in 2006. It is the first CD in a series of three. It has, just like the book, been given away for free in large numbers. Contributing musicians include Marc Ribot, Jim Campilongo, Charles Bissell, Jim Keltner, Iva Bittova, Hutch Hutchinson, Lee Rocker and others.
