Richard Anthony Rodriguez (born March 1, 1963 in Downey, California), a graduate of Mountain View High School in the city of El Monte, California, is a retired professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues from 1990-2003.
He married Malia Rivera in 2006, an event that was featured on the popular reality television show, Bridezillas, and Entertainment Tonight. They currently live in Southern California overseeing a Japanese apparel line called "District 81-3." The clothing line was successfully picked up by Ron Robinson at Fred Segal and dozens of high-end boutiques within 3 months of their launch in 2008.
Rodriguez also facilitates and provides pitching lessons for kids, high school and college bound athletes in and around Southern California in his spare time and as a hobby.
