Richard Dahm (often credited as Rich Dahm) is an American comedy writer from Wisconsin. A Co-Executive Producer and Head Writer for The Colbert Report, he has also written for Dennis Miller Live and Da Ali G Show. [1]

Dahm attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the late 1980s, where his professional career began as a writer for the then-new The Onion. He is the author of The Cultural Idiocy Quiz and co-author of several other humor books. A three time Emmy nominee, Dahm currently resides in New York with his wife, screenwriter Leyla Kader Dahm.[citation needed]
