Riceville Township is a township in Becker County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 103 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 37.5 square miles (97.3 km²), of which, 37.0 square miles (95.9 km²) of it is land and 0.5 square miles (1.3 km²) of it (1.36%) is water.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 103 people, 35 households, and 29 families residing in the township. The population density was 2.8 people per square mile (1.1/km²). There were 37 housing units at an average density of 1.0/sq mi (0.4/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 91.26% White, 0.97% Native American, and 7.77% from two or more races.

There were 35 households out of which 40.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 77.1% were married couples living together, 5.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.1% were non-families. 17.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.94 and the average family size was 3.28.

In the township the population was spread out with 31.1% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 24.3% from 25 to 44, 27.2% from 45 to 64, and 8.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 102.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 108.8 males.

The median income for a household in the township was $35,625, and the median income for a family was $37,500. Males had a median income of $28,125 versus $20,000 for females. The per capita income for the township was $10,999. There were 11.5% of families and 17.5% of the population living below the poverty line, including 16.7% of under eighteens and 26.7% of those over 64.
