Rice tenrecs are the two species in the genus Oryzorictes. They are mammals in the Tenrecidae family. It contains the following species:
- Mole-like Rice Tenrec (Oryzorictes hova)
- Four-toed Rice Tenrec (Oryzorictes tetradactylus)
