Riccardo Cocciante
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Riccardo Cocciante, also known in French-speaking countries as Richard Cocciante (February 20, 1946 in Saigon, French Indochina, now Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam), is a French-Italian singer-songwriter and actor. He was born to a French mother and Italian father, so even though he attended school in Rome, he is considered an Italo-French artist. In 1976, Cocciante covered the Beatles song "Michelle" for the musical documentary All This and World War II. He has three very successful musicals running at the moment, probably Notre-Dame de Paris being the most known. This musical may later be put into competition against another musical in progress "Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame (musical)".
