Rock Preston (born March 26, 1975 in Miami, Florida) is an American football player. Preston was a standout at Hialeah High School in Miami and went on to play tailback for Florida State University. His quality play and contributions were vital to the success of his team in 1993 and helped the Seminoles to their first-ever National Championship when FSU defeated Nebraska 18-16 in the 1994 Orange Bowl. In the 1995 Sugar Bowl, Preston was again instrumental in the 23-17 the win over rival Florida. In 1996, FSU's 31-26 victory over Notre Dame would not have been possible without Preston's contributions.
