Ricardo Wilson Rocha is a Brazilian conductor, expert in Bach and in Brazilian classical music.
Rocha is also the founding father of the non profit musical association Companhia Bachiana Brasileira, which is dedicated to broadcasting Brazilian classical music and also to put on the stage Bach’s compositions. Just like Heitor Villa-Lobos, a notable Brazilian composer, Rocha believes that Bach has a lot of influence on Brazilian classical composers.[citation needed]
Rocha lives in Rio de Janeiro but also has a very important career in Germany.
