Ricardo Montez (born in 1924 as Levy Attias) is a television actor known for his role as Juan Cervantes in the ITV comedy series Mind Your Language.
He left Gibraltar in 1964 and over the years made a name for himself in the industry known by all casting directors.
His first film in the sixties was Pirates of Blood River. On TV, acted in The Avengers and The Saint. He had a major breakthrough starring in the ITV comedy series Mind Your Language when he played Juan Cervantes - with his famous lines 'por favor' and 'itssoorright'.
He lives Richmaond and visits Gibraltar twice a year. His wife is Orita, daughter Clara and granddaughter Sara.
