Ricardo Mangue Obama Nfubea (born c. 1961) has been the Prime Minister of Equatorial Guinea since 2006.[1] He is a lawyer by profession and a member of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE).[citation needed]

Mangue Obama was Second Deputy Prime Minister in the government of his predecessor, Miguel Abia Biteo Boricó, and also previously held the labor and education portfolios.[citation needed] Following the resignation of Abia Biteo Boricó and his government on August 10, 2006, Mangue Obama Nfubea was appointed as Prime Minister by President Teodoro Obiang Nguema on 14 August 2006, becoming the first member of the majority Fang community to serve in this post.[1]
