Ricardo Ismael Rojas Mendoza (born January 26, 1971 Posadas) is an Argentinian born former football defender who played for the Paraguay national football team.
Rojas played for Club Libertad in Paraguay, SL Benfica in Portugal and with Argentinian clubs Estudiantes, River Plate and Belgrano. He is best known in Argentina for scoring his only First Division goal in a 3-0 victory of River over their main rivals Boca Juniors. After scoring that goal he was nicknamed vaseline.
Rojas was a participant at the 1998 FIFA World Cup with the national team.
