[edit] Biography
Ricardo grew up in a poor area of Rio. At a young age, his mother was killed and his father permanently paralyzed. He lived with his friend's family as if he was their son. His father then later died at the age of 8. He joined his "new" father's football side Minaro FC. He played as a winger, and after just 2 games was sent to a training camp by his coach. It was there that the youngster really started to get spotted. He was offered a trial at Nuanagarmes Marchal, a club that is defunct as of July 2001. He racked up over 50 appearances for Nuana Marchal before being offered a trial at his current club, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. Being at the age of 16 when he joined, he quickly established himself as the "young trickster" as his flair play was astounding. The youngster was then placed straight into the under 18 side at the age of 16. He still is in the under 18 squad, but has made one appearance for the first team. Coming on as a substitute in a game last season.
