Ricardo Confessori (born January 25, 1969 in São Paulo, Brazil) plays drums in the power metal band Shaaman after he left his former band Angra (band) (which he had joined shortly after the recording of their first album) together with André Matos and Luís Mariutti. After the first two albums in Shaaman/Shaman, Ricardo Confessori and Andre Matos had creative problems. Even though Andre Matos was the leader of the band, Ricardo Confessori owned it. So instead of only one person leaving the band, everyone but Ricardo did.
