Ricardo Bruni Marx

Ricardo Burni Marx, the Brazilian boomerang thrower and enthusiast of the sport, born in São Paulo, Brazil on July 12 of 1974. His first contact with boomerangs happens in 1990 when he moved to a new house near the Ibirapuera Park and walk there with his dog "Otto".

In 1994 the internet become to be popular in Brazil and he made the fist Brazilian website about the sport and start conctacts with the best throwers and crafters around the world.

Their fist time competing are in Kiel, Germany - 2002 at the "Kangaroo" international team, they finish in 12th place of 24 teams. After this Ricardo goest to Ohio in 2003 to the Annual Tournament finishing in 8th place, back again in 2004 to Ohio to the US Nationals finishing in 2º place at the intermediate team level and 1º place at Distance as "American Distance Champion of 2004" (using one boomerang from Jason Smucker).
