Ricardo André Duarte Pires is a Portuguese footballer currently on contract with Cherno More Varna. He was born in Amadora, Portugal on October 24, 1982 and he is a midfielder that stands 183 cm tall and weighs 80 kg.

Ricardo was raised in Benfica Lisboa's youth teams.In season 2002/2003 played in "B" team on portugal grand SL Benfica.In 2003 signed with F.C. Paços de Ferreira where stay 3 years and played 34 caps.In season 2006/2007 played in the team from second division on Portugal Gondomar S.C.. In june 2007 Ricardo gone in Bulgaria and signed with Cherno More Varna.

Ricardo made his official debut for Cherno More in a match against FK Makedonija Gjorče Petrov from UEFA Intertoto Cup on 12 July 2007. He played for 90 minutes. The result of the match was 4:0 and win for Cherno More.
On 28 August 2007 he scored his first goals for Cherno More against Slavia Sofia. He scored goal in 64th minute. The result of the match 3:1 and lose for Cherno More.
