Thank you
...for closing the MfD on my user page. So I don't run into any more problems (especially with you :-) ), can you please clarify "...providing that BQZ follows up on the proposed RfC in the very near future."? Obviously half a year would be too long and I can't finish within the next hour...so anyway, did you have a specific timeframe in mind? — BQZip01 — talk 04:44, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- 2 weeks max works (I hope for it to be MUCH sooner). Thanks for clarity, I'll amend the header on the page to reflect that. I'll either remove it or submit it as-is. Fair 'nuff? — BQZip01 — talk 05:01, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- That's my goal! :-) — BQZip01 — talk 05:42, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Riana, I'm truly sorry you had to step in this can of worms, but your help is appreciated. Unfortunately, this is this user's modus operandi. He exaggerates and makes up stuff to make his position sound better and more palletable:
- There is no such thing as "formal progress" in the DR process. Either there is a submission or there isn't as such I can't do a submission if I don't have one.
- "the page almost looks entirely complete" is extremely misleading. I have about 40 more posts to go through, categorize, and then write my comments on them and then summarize each section.
- How about this: I will do my level best to complete this before the weekend is out, but I will give you an update every day to show you I am making significant progress. — BQZip01 — talk 06:25, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
-
- I think you've made your point on most of the issues here, I don't see what good it would possibly do to categorize or track any further edits. At least not in any meaningful way that you couldn't do in two days. And please stop being so hostile in your responses, it's not doing anyone any good. Cumulus Clouds (talk) 08:21, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
I object to a two week extension, since this page has already been up for a week with no formal progress being made in the DR process. I would ask that any RfC be filed before Sunday evening at the very latest and if this hasn't been done by Monday morning that the page be deleted. Cumulus Clouds (talk) 06:14, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
-
- The page also looks almost entirely complete, so I don't understand why it hasn't been submitted yet. Cumulus Clouds (talk) 06:15, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sure there are many more things that need to be included, corrected, edited, or tweaked in order for his case to be properly and fairly presented and if BQZ had not been so distracted from his efforts of late, the case might well have been already submitted. The only one who could know if the page is "almost entirely complete" is the person collecting the evidences. It is only proper that he ensure that his facts are true and his illustrations accurate. I'm sure no one, not even CC, would want to have a poorly prepared indictment. And of course, being able to study the case under construction will allow CC the opportunity to better defend against the allegation of disruption, should he so choose, as the instances being presented will not be coming as a surprise. Two weeks may not be enough, but it is a reasonable compromise. MichaelQSchmidt (talk) 20:16, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Cumulus Cloud submitted. — BQZip01 — talk 22:22, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Reasonable time frame
I've opened a broader discussion on some of the relevant issues. Hope it doesn't explode, but I think a little more clarification might help. Appeals to common sense weren't totally productive, so some clearer boundaries may be in order. Cheers! Franamax (talk) 06:27, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Neutralhomer
Riana, I left a (probably) final comment in the WP:ANI discussion regarding Neutralhomer. You may recall initiating the above WikiProject and placing an 'under construction' sign/template on it, sometime back in December 2007?
Never having done this kind of thing before, I have now (tonight) just had a first crack at a possible WikiProject page (in an effort to initiate this important Australian project on the day our Prime Minister has so formally, and so publicly expressed the hope/wish that all Australian's might start thinking about Australia and Indigenous Australian's differently!!)
Please, as it's all new to me, it would be appreciated (if it's possible - as the creator of this project?) if you might have a quick look; upgrade as necessary/convenient; and even (if there is any chance) help arrange for standard templates .. such as a user box template; project scope box/tag etc .. to accompany project activities.
I also note you had pre-announced that this project was to come under the "governance" of WikiProject Australia .. so, I guess, when a bit more ready, it should be announced on WikiProject Australia's notice board, and identified on WikiProject Australia's page as "parented" by that project? Hello Riana!
I would like to notify that 124.125.208.23 (talk · contribs) keeps on adding all sorts of irrelevant and redundant info to the above-mentioned page. I've warned him three times, but he keeps on doing the same. He fills up the lead with long discussions of the name Jodhaa Bai, and what historians have to say about it, while it is not related to the article by no means whatsoever, although it's referenced. Plus, he reverts my edits, including important formats I'm doing etc. Please see how the article looks on his version. Best regards, Shahid • Talk2me 13:30, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- Hello,
- Shahid keeps threatening me to ban me and calls my edits vandalism. Initially he objected that my edits did not cite the references correctly and that is the reason he gave for reverting them. I took this criticism in good faith and I fixed the references and now he says i cannot add stuff to the article because it is irrelevant! I am not sure how he has made himself a judge on what people can or cannot put on a page. You can see some of his comments here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:124.125.208.23
And my reply here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Shshshsh#Stop_threatening_me —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.125.208.23 (talk) 15:15, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- I hadn't had any problem with sourced/unsourced info in this case, but problems of notability and relevance. The history of the name Jodha Bai is completely irrelevant and non-notable to the film page, more so when it is added in the very lead, which is here to summarise the article and its contents. Shahid • Talk2me 15:48, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
-
- The reliability problem I have is the moviewalah.com review. You keep adding it while it is unreliable. Shahid • Talk2me 15:54, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

-
- PLease go ahead and delete moviwalah.com review. No problems. But do not remove other referenced stuff. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.125.208.23 (talk) 16:13, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry that I dragged you into all this - I honestly thought between us we could knock him into shape, but it wasn't to be. - Since I said this to Ryan, I'll say it to you as well: You were right to try. Don't let anyone give you trash for what you tried to do; you and Ryan AGF'ed WAY above and beyond the call, and that's refreshing. The fact that it didn't work as hoped does not diminish your efforts in the slightest. Keep your head up, and thanks. Gladys J Cortez 06:56, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, although it's a shame to think that everytime anyone tries out a massive dollop of AGF in the future, they'll be reminded about this incident. :/ ~ Riana ⁂ 06:57, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- That's one of the things about this incident that honks me off the MOST--it's going to make perfectly well-intentioned people think twice before they carry out their efforts. And every time it happens, it nibbles away at the whole NOTION of good faith; pretty soon you've got an unpleasant mix of "I'm not gonna risk it" caution, "everyone's out to get everyone else" paranoia, and "screw it, what's the point?" apathy, salted with maybe a couple crumbs of "I'm willing to take the chance." Not the type of world I want to inhabit, you know? Gladys J Cortez 07:14, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- I came here to thank you for your awesome job of AGF. No one had seen this coming. I was a fairly strong advocate of him. I worked with Arch a lot at DYK before he became an admin it this whole incident is a complete shock. Now we can see why he had did such unusual things. There was no way that anyone would have any faith in what he did after the truth was found out, so the community ban was appropriate. You should hold your head up REAL HIGH for your effort! Template:Comics/Importance
This is more a FYI than anything else. I don't pretend to understand templates, but it looks like when you added {{pp-template}} to {{Comics/Importance}} here, it broke the main template, {{Comicsproj}}. It looks like it needs to be added like this. I guess this has something to do with the transclusion, it probably transcluded the carriage return between the template ending and the beginning of the noinclude statement. I'm only mentioning this in case it is an issue for you in the future. Thanks for adding the {{pp-template}}, though, and happy editing. Hiding T 17:51, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Hello Riana!
Thanks for protecting. I was in fact going to request full protection. Before this new edit war, he was adding stuff which was absolutely incohorent, irrelevant (to the lead and the synopsis) despite being sourced. I told him that historians' views (which are not comparisons or something) do not belong to this film article but to another one called, Akbar. He was reverting and reverting, all of the all, even if there were important edits in between. Two other editors agreed with me on the matter and told him that; he was blocked for using a sock puppet, and I evetually got that some of the info was relevant, depends on how it is written. So he now added his stuff again now, and I reduced and copyedited it to the relevant points only (that there are some mistakes, that Jodhaa was not the common name of Akbar's wife etc.) and removed the historians' quotes which are completely irrelevant and constitute a WP:UNDUE to it. After all, the important aspect in writing accuracy issues, is to present the facts, without too many redundant breaches. He was again, reverting. I don't know how to make him understand that we cannot edit like this.

Newline
Please do not add an unwanted newline to the transcluded part of a template, like in [4]; put the tag right after the content.--Patrick (talk) 17:48, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
