[edit] Dispute on notability

I don't agree that R. Mikutavičius was infamous. What about the fact that there was a monument for him built after his death? Doesn't that dispel all doubts about the notability of that article? He was not only a poet who had published some books, he was an activist during the Sąjūdis and he was even awarded the Order of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas. --Visconsus (talk) 12:05, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

The easiest way to dispel all doubts about this subject's notability is to cite reliable, published, third-party sources that document the notability of the subject. Is he mentioned in any books? Are there any newspaper accounts regarding the 70th birthday celebration? Ursasapien (talk) 04:43, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
It would be helpful to find English sources. Without be able to translate, the sources you have cited are not of much use on the English wiki. Ursasapien (talk) 05:04, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
