Rhys Tetenburg (born August 22, 1998) is a young 9 year old soccer player who currently plays for his community's best club, the Te Atatu Trojans. Rhys has only spent one year with the team in every position (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and striker) and has earnt a great prize at the end of his 2007 season. He also has a part job at school as a soccer coach, teaching young children how to play soccer. At the age of 20, he wants to move to England to play for Liverpool with his assistant coach, Joshua Oram. Joshua and Rhys both entered the school's annual 2007 speech competition, and made some great speeches. Rhys worked hard over the months and came up with a 2 minute speech about one of his favourite continents - South America. Joshua, apparently, did a speech about the famous soccer club that he worships, Liverpool FC. Joshua was quite dramatic and came in 2nd place. Rhys was happy as the judge just returned from a trip to South America - he came in 4th place. At the age of 20, Rhys and Joshua are going to England to play for the club (if it is still around at the year of 2018) and will sign up for the first 11 squad of the New Zealand national football team. Rhys's family is quite famous, with Rhys and both his sisters on TV, and, something that happened on 30/9/2007. Tom and Siobhan Tetenburg, Rhys's parents, are making a house by the sea, and they got a message from ASB - Goldstein would love to have himself in another ad, with him building a house. ASB had happily picked Rhys's new house! Tom and Siobhan collected the prize money ($800) and put it toward the family's trip to the Gold Coast in Australia. Rhys says that he will become a Right Centre Midfielder for both the New Zealand national football team and a soccer club in Europe in 2018.
