Talk:Rhythm Pigs
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It's a bit of an overstatement to say "Break or I'll Break Your Face" would be at home on the Beastie Boys record. Notwithstanding the rather limited pallette the band works with, the unimaginative lyrics, one is hardcore masquerading as a sort of funk while the Beastie Boys were a mixture of pop, rap and heavy metal.
[edit] Notability
Meets criteria 4 of WP:MUSIC, an early and influential member of Mordam Records's early roster. Their allmusic.com entry begins "Rising out of the dust of El Paso, TX, in 1983, the Rhythm Pigs ground through a whole crop of shows across the U.S. and Europe in the mid-'80s, which helped build on the regional notoriety..."
