Rhytida otagoensisis a species of small, air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusc in the family Rhytididae.

This species of land snail is endemic to the southern part of the South Island of New Zealand.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is larger than the living adult size of Rhytida australis, with deeper whorls, and less prominent malleations, crossed by weak irregular axial folds and growth-lines. The shell colour is greenish-olive and the umbilicus has no dark zone.
The shell diameter is up to 18 mm, and height up to 10 mm.
