Rhythm Syndicate
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rythm Syndicate (the official version of the band name, used on their albums, singles, and publicity material, spells "rhythm" without the first "h") was a R&B group from Connecticut consisting of singer Evan Rogers, guitarist Carl Sturken, keyboardist John Nevin, bassist Rob Mingrino, and drummer, Kevin Cloud. The purposely misspelled first part of their name is pronounced like the word "rhythm."
The group had two hits in 1991: "P.A.S.S.I.O.N.", which hit number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "Hey Donna", which reached number 13.
