Rhyssoplax chathamensis is a species of chiton in the family Chitonidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand's Chatham Islands.

This chiton is found on rocks at depths of about 25 m.
[edit] Description
The shell is of moderate size, coarsely sculptured with low, rounded nodules, arranged radially, and with vertical furrows on the central area.
Coloration is pinkish, with irregular darker markings. The nodules are white.
