Rhys Webb, better known as Spider Webb (born on 18 February 1983), is the keyboard/organist for Southend band The Horrors. He is a self proclaimed mod. He mainly uses a Vox Continental which is a transistor-based combo organ, but has been known to use Farfisas, Hammonds, the Roland VK-8, and, most recently, a Nord Electro 2.
He, along with Oliver Abbott are the founders of Southend's Junk Club which used to be located in the basement of a decaying Victorian hotel, this is where the members of The Horrors met. He is in the side project Spider And The Flies with Tomethy Furse. Their music is instrumental, and their sound is influenced by the work of Delia Derbyshire, the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, and Joe Meek-produced instrumentals. His sister, Harry Webb, is the current girlfriend of fellow Horror Coffin Joe. Harry is also a member of the DJ group, The She Set. His younger brother Huw Webb is the bass player in the band S.C.U.M and DJs under the name Huw Electric.
