"Rhyme & Reason" is a song recorded by the Dave Matthews Band on their album Under the Table and Dreaming.
The song is about heroin addiction and describes an addict's feelings about how good it feels when he is on the drug as well as the character's struggle to get off it by drinking and smoking to "reason with his head." All is then ended by his death at the end of the song, "My body falls cold, and I see heaven."
