[edit] Category redirect

For the record, if somebody wants to swap the categories so that everything currently filed in Category:Rhythm and blues albums is here instead and that category has the redirect on it, I would have no objection to that. I applied the redirect notice here because the other category already had a much larger number of subcategories and articles in it, so I simply went with the merger option that involved less work.

The only fundamental issue is that Wikipedia should not have both categories splitting up the genre at the same time — if people genuinely feel that "R&B" should be the main category and "Rhythm and blues" the redirect, I'm okay with that. I just don't want to do the amount of work involved by myself. Bearcat 20:14, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
