In the geologic timescale, the Rhuddanian is the age of the Llandovery epoch of the Silurian period of the Paleozoic era of the Phanerozoic eon that is comprehended between 443.7 ± 1.5 Ma and 439.0 ± 1.8 Ma (million years ago), approximately. The Rhuddanian age succeeds the Ordovician Period and precedes the Aeronian age.
