Route 7 is a numbered State Highway running 15.1 miles in Rhode Island.

Route 7 takes the following route through the State:
- Providence: 2.3 miles; Route 246 to North Providence city line
- Orms Street and Douglas Avenue
- North Providence: 1.5 miles; Providence city line to Smithfield town line
- Douglas Avenue
- Smithfield: 6.0 miles; North Providence city line to North Smithfield town line
- Douglas Pike
- North Smithfield: 3.0 miles; Smithfield town line to Burrillville town line
- Douglas Pike
- Burrillville: 2.3 miles; North Smithfield town line to Joslin Road
- Douglas Turnpike, Victory Highway and Douglas Turnpike

The northern terminus of Route 7 is at Joslin Road because that is where state maintenance on the road ends. The paved road continues to the Massachusetts state line, where it becomes a dirt road.
