Route 403 is a 2.4 mile (3.9 km) long state highway located in central Rhode Island. The western terminus of the route is at an interchange with Route 4 and Route 402 in East Greenwich. The eastern terminus is at an interchange with U.S. Route 1 in North Kingstown.
As of July 2005, Route 403 is currently in the process of being moved to the new Quonset Freeway.

It is a two lane narrow road which connects (on its Northwest termius to RI 402, and RI 4. It Southeastern termuis is at US 1
