Dr. Rhoda Dendron is a fictional anthropomorphic duck created for the animated television series Darkwing Duck. She appeared in the episode Beauty and the Beet and was voiced by Jennifer Darling. Her name is based on the rhododendron plant.

Dr. Rhoda Dendron is a colleague of Dr. Reginald Bushroot who works at St. Canard University. She usually wears a labcoat over a purple dress and also wears black heels. She was presumably a botanist. Rhoda is the only person at the university who is nice to Bushroot, often coming to his defense whenever he is being bullied by fellow scientists Dr. Gary and Dr. Larson. Bushroot misinterprets her actions as proof that she has a romantic interest in him.

After he has successfully gotten his revenge against Gary and Larson, Bushroot and his sidekick Spike abduct Rhoda from the university, whisking her away to his greenhouse hideout. He plans to use his plant transformation process to mutate her into a plant/duck hybrid like himself, so that she can be his bride (and the new cover girl of Lawn and Garden magazine), but he is stopped thanks to Darkwing Duck and Launchpad McQuack.

It is not known what became of Rhoda after this. If she had any romantic interest at all in Bushroot that interest likely waned after he kidnapped her and tried to mutate her against her will. In any event, after Beauty and the Beet Bushroot never tried to come after Rhoda ever again.
