[edit] Llywelyn the Great Children
Hope that I am doing this right. Thank you for your welcome! I have done some editing here or there, mostly around history pages. What you did was perfect. It did not look as neat originally so I just wanted to clean it up. Thank you again! RosePlantagenet 19:09, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welsh Nationalism
This articule is about Welsh nationalism, not self-government (which is, I assume, about the provisions withing the two Government of Wales Bills). See my comments on the article's talk page of 22 February. Normalmouth 05:17, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
Hwyl. No, I do understand what he's done, and I accept that, if it clearly comes into the category of forking, then he shouldn't have done it. However, I think there is an argument for having two separate articles. If he doesn't take appropriate action, I'm quite prepared to do something about it, eg. change it back to a redirect and protect it. Deb 19:09, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
Hello. I have no wish to get into an edit war. But I want to creat an article about Welsh Nationalism (which the current Welsh Self Governmnent article used to be until chaged to the present misleading title. If you prefer, I will create a fresh one - but references to Welsh Nationalism should point at it, not at this one. Normalmouth 15:39, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Flags of Wales
Can you take a look at the Category:Flags_of_Wales page and tell me how many images you see in the gallery. I can only see one, the Royal Standard, the other three don't appear.

[edit] Good luck with the FAC
Good luck with the FAC! I added the direct link to WP:WWNB because of the size of the main FAC page. Hope you didn't mind. Telsa (talk) 08:36, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] FAC
Just wanted to let you know I commented on Llewelyn's FAC. I've made a couple of suggestions, and pointed out one particular instance where you're not in agreement with the Manual of Style. It looks like the article's well on its way to approval, though. Good luck! Peirigill 20:35, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Great work with your recent edits to Y Gododdin. Keep it up! One question, though- what is the Jarmin book you are referring to?--Cúchullain t/c 17:24, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Aberdyfi
Hi Rhion.
Can I seek your opinion on the correct spelling of Aberdyfi?
The National Assembly document http://new.wales.gov.uk/topics/localgovernment/localauthorities/gwyneddcouncil/?lang=en)]] gives Aberdyfi as does the BBC site http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/northwest/sites/aberdyfi/
However User:Owain cites the Gwynedd Council document http://www.gwynedd.gov.uk/gwy_doc.asp?cat=3371&doc=9209&Language=1 as a reason to revert all changes to Aberdovey (despite the article title!!!)
I'm quite surprised at this because he spends much of his time deleting any reference to Gwynedd, Conwy, etc -- Maelor 14:35, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- I've put up a request for guidance on this matter (and other similar issues) on Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

[edit] Cantre'r Gwaelod
Hi Rhion,
I noticed that you created the redirect page from Cantre'r Gwaelod to Lowland Hundred. I have to admit though that I've never heard it called anything but Cantre'r Gwaelod, even in English. What do you think? Should it be moved or is Lowland Hundred really that common a name for the place? garik 11:27, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think I've ever heard it called the "Lowland hundred" actually. It probably should be moved to "Cantre'r Gwaelod". Rhion 11:46, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Java collaboration
Hi Rhion/Archive3! Starting today, the Indonesia Collaboration is Java. Come along and help make this an article worthy of the world’s greatest island. There’s a suggested to-do list on the the talk page to which you can add, or just pick a task. All sorts of tasks are required, Images, Citations, Research, Copy Edit; you name it, it needs to be done – this important article needs your help!! Regards -- Imoeng 08:44, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Slate industry in Wales
Great article! I enjoyed reading it. --BillC 00:37, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
Good article. I have a helpful tip regarding the scanned image of the men splitting slate. If you scan the newsprint or bookprint, whatever it was, at a random odd angle (not 90 or 45), then rotate it straight in the image editing software, that usually does a good job at minimizing moire effect from the screening process used in printing your original. Super job and very interesting read. How long did you spend on it before you put it on Wikipedia? Jeepday 13:21, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Why Switzerland?
On the subject of a world government, why Switzerland? Is it because they hold all the world's money? That would be slightly elitist, don't you think? Black-Velvet 03:33, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

- Hi again, Rhion/Archive3! This fortnight we've chosen: >>>Majapahit Kingdom<<<. Please help in referencing, check my newly added headings, improve prose, diagrams, but most importantly is RESEARCH so we can actually grow the article. Any other suggestions for improvement, please leave on the article's talk page. Yes, please discuss on talk page!
- Also, can you please post suggestions for the following fortnight's collaboration. Please leave your suggestions at the bottom of this page. Hopefully i will remember to remind you to vote in about a week (someone else remind me!).--Merbabu 14:24, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Jonathan Davies
Hi - I hope you can help me! I am trying to add a Wiki Rugby project Infobox to the article on Jonathan Davies - without success! I added a blank version originally and filled in the data, but all it showed (in both preview and production) was his name, image and place of birth. So I then experimented with the one I found used at Andy Robinson, which has allowed the addition of more information but still won't show even basic information on his Rugby League career. Can you please help? Thanks - Rgds, - Trident13 11:59, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ap v/s Map
Hello! Some time ago you clarified for me the use of ap/ab, but I have further questions. I read that these ap/ab are of corse contractions of map/mab. But what I havent found is exactly when the contraction began. When did the m drop off of ap? I ask because I would like to know because someone suggested all the Welsh articals now need to be changed to read something like Llywellyn Map Gruffydd. I am weary of this and seek some more direct proof. Thanks! Drachenfyre 14:25, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
