Rheji Burrell along with his brother Ronald (or Rhano) was responsible for creating some of New York's most experimental and 'deep' House music in the late 80's and early 90's.

Much of Burrell's House music output was on the legendary 'Nu Groove' record label, often under various guises such as 'New York House'n Authority', 'Tech Trax Inc' and 'Utopia Project' to name just a few!

New York twins, self-taught Musicians / Producers with an extensive gospel background, joined the group Inner Spirit as 13-year-old.

They won first place for four consecutive years in the New Jersey Teen Arts Festival and developed their technical and playing skills on a four-track recorder.

The duo earned their first recording deal with Virgin Records in the late ‘80s. In the early '90s, the Burrells co-founded the legendary Nu Groove Records label which still enjoys a cult like following today and is also responsible for inspiring and launching the careers of some of the biggest , most influential Dj's, Re-mixers / Dance Artists in the world.

Mid-'90s the Burrell Brothers set their sights on the Hip-Hop / Rap, R&B / Pop Genres where they enjoyed Multi-Platinum success working with some of the industry’s top Major Label Superstars. Today the Twins have not only continued recording with Giants in the industry but are now branching out into film making and “Indie” record releases by working with undiscovered talent.
