RFA Aldersdale (X 34) was a Royal Fleet Auxiliary Oiler (ship)|oiler]] lost during convoy PQ17 in 1942 and was originally one of 6 ships ordered by the British Tanker Co which were purchased on the stocks by the Admiralty..
