RF-iT Solutions GmbH was established 2005 as spin-off from Infineon Technologies^[1]^[2]; its activities cover RFID solutions, software and services. It produces the You-R OPEN operating environment, a well known RFID middleware platform for system integrators. RF-ID Enablement Packages” provides system integrators and software producers with a rapid and expert market entry to RFID.

RF-iT Solutions implements projects in fashion retail, pharmaceutical, document management, and automotive market segments. With technical services, such as studies^[3], technology assessments, benchmarking, technology consulting and pre-sales support, RF-iT Solutions functions as the technical backbone for system integrators^[4].

The company operates the EPCglobal and GS1 RFID Solution Excellence Center at its office in Graz, Austria.

The company participates in the EU Bridge project, launched in July 2006 with the aim to resolve the barriers to the implementation of the EPCglobal Network in Europe.^[5]
