[edit] Very new here and trying to do my best

Any help is welcome. Rezimmerman (talk) 16:54, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

What help do you need? GBT/C 16:54, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
I am working on a biography of Matt Mahurin in my user area. I realize I have done something very wrong, because it is being picked up by Googlebot and other search spiders. I am unclear how to stop this - or if I have simply approached this in the incorrect way. I am very new to this, but would like to provide informative content where I am able. Rezimmerman (talk) 17:00, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
What's wrong with it being picked up by Google? Presumably you're working on it prior to moving over to the main article space? GBT/C 17:15, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Oh, I see...thanks much
This just seemed wrong to me. I was concerned that my procedure was incorrect. Thanks for your help very much. You are correct that I will be moving this to the main article space shortly. Rezimmerman (talk) 17:35, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Matt Mahurin

Hi Rezimmerman. I came across the new article on Matt Mahurin which you wrote, and thought it was good. I've just nominated it for Did You Know?, the list of facts from new articles which appears on the main page. If it's accepted it should appear around Saturday and someone will notify you. Here's hoping it gets on!

Also, I notice now that you're new to Wikipedia. Having your work appear on the main page would be a nice accomplishment for your first week, wouldn't it? Let me wish you welcome to Wikipedia, and please don't hesitate to ask at my talk page if you have any questions or need advice. Happy editing! Olaf Davis | Talk 20:12, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing some of those references for me on Matt Mahurin, Olaf. It gives me a better understanding of how those should be used.Rezimmerman (talk) 19:55, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Matt Mahurin

Updated DYK query On 24 May 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Matt Mahurin, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

[edit] Style conventions

Hello. Please take a look at this edit. "External links" is correct; "External Links" is wrong. "Honors and service" is correct; "Honors and Service" is wrong. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Michael Hardy (talk) 23:43, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Much appreciated! Rezimmerman (talk) 21:03, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
