[edit] Early Life

I was born in a cold evening in Tehran only two days before Christmas. I am the first of three children to Dr. Hossein Aghaie Nia. Just after the Islamic Revolution my family moved to shahrekord and I grew up there until the age of 10.

I was back in Tehran by the end of the Iran-Iraq war and for the next 7 years I was attending Nikan High School and Middle School. I was brought up with strong shia religious values.

[edit] Renaissance

I developed a deep interest in history while I was in school and by the age of 16 I spent most of my time digging books in the library, this led into the discovery of several books from pagan and atheist philosophers and my beliefs changed radically towards atheism. Being in a very religious shia school at the time created a hostile atmosphere for me and as a teenager I developed a sense rebellion against my old faith. I Managed to finish the high school and was accepted in Azad University in Tehran for BSc in Electronic Eng.

[edit] Education

After two years of attending the university and following Fabius Maximus as my idol in studying I dropped off the course and move to the UK where I attended Portsmouth University. I graduated with honours in BSc Internet technology and I finished my MSc in project Management in 2006. In February 2006 I become a PhD Candidate in Risk and Crisis Management under the supervision on Professor Edward Borodzicz and at the moment I am in my second year of my PhD.
