Hi! I've nominated the article on basketball for peer review at WP:PR with a view to it getting on WP:FAC and I thought you might be interested. Neonumbers 11:33, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Tookie_dead.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Tookie_dead.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 02:09, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RP cities and towns infobox

I reverted most of your edits since this is the English Wikipedia, we'd have to use the English translation on the infobox. If you want, you can add a local language parameter like the one used in Tokyo but for the sake of consistency, it has to be applied to each and every LGU. --Howard the Duck 05:57, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 99.5 RT

Hello. I just finished editing what you wrote about 99.5 RT. Much of what you put on that page is hearsay. Let me start off by saying I work for the on-air department of the station. I've spent a total of almost 12 years there, so I'd like to think my knowledge of the station and its history is accurate.

Real Radio Network is the name of the corporation that owns DWRT-FM. It is not a subsidiary of Quest Broadcasting. Quest is the owner of DWTM-FM and the provincial network of Killer Bee stations. Real Radio and Quest are two distintly different entities. The only thing they have in common is that both stations are overseen by a management consultancy group, The Radio Partners, Inc. Any reference to the contrary by other people, is mere misinformation.

DWKX-FM is owned by Advanced Media Broadcasting and is also overseen by The Radio Partners. Unlike K-Lite, RT is not reformatting. It will continue to be a CHR station in 2007. Posting rumors about us does not seem to be fair.

Please give us a call if you feel you need to clarify anything that pertains to our station.

RT's original owner is Trans-Radio Broadcasting Corp. and not Trans-Pacific. Get the facts straight, try asking next time. Some people who still work for DWRT-FM now, worked for the Tuasons as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Morpheuzzz (talkcontribs) 08:54, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Recent Speedy Tags

You applied {{db-bio}} tags to a number of Philippine reporter articles. Being a reporter can be in itself a claim of notability depending upon their viewership. As such, these articles are more appropriate for WP:PROD or WP:AFD and I have removed the speedy tags. Another user had tagged these with {{afd}}, but had never completed steps 2 or 3 of the AFD nomination process. Therefore, I had to remove those tags as well. Feel free to use PROD or AFD if you still believe these should be deleted. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank. -- JLaTondre 21:39, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Rock990.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Rock990.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Regarding edits made to 97.1 Barangay LS

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Reyrefran! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. Hey, thanks for fixing my error on Randi Patterson. You'd think it wouldn't be that hard to do a simple copyedit, but it is for me. Appreciated. Ytny (talk) 23:13, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Recent Chicago Fire edits

I reverted your edits to the squad section for the Chicago Fire article. You added back in both that Cuauhtemoc Blanco is a free transer, and a speculative month in which he'd play in. The latter is subject to change because Chicago is letting him finish his season with America, and that could either be this month (April) or the next (May). Both Mediotiempo and Univision.com - both very reliable sources - say that he's being paid around $2 million to go to Chicago Fire. If you find a source that says he's a free tranfer, cite it. Otherwise, leave that section as it is. --DethFromAbove 15:47, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quest Broadcasting, et al

Dude, where do you get your information regarding the radio stations affiliated with The Radio Partners, Inc.? You seem to be overzealous to post erroneous and potentially damaging details about the intricate workings of each station and the networks they belong to. You keep insinuating that a single mother company (Quest) owns five FM stations in Metro Manila. Are you aware that is illegal in The Philippines? Have you noticed that the broadcast giants ABS-CBN and GMA each own and operate only one (1) FM and one (1) AM station each in Manila? So how could a smaller company own five in the same geographic market? Do you have irrefutable documentation to prove it? We believe you are merely relying on misinformed hearsay. We could ask you to stop, but you will most likely not listen, so we will just edit your every false edit, each time we catch them. Morpheuzzz 09:09, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Like I said in this previous post, are you aware of the ownership laws when it comes to radio stations in the Philippines? No, it is NOT common knowledge that Quest owns those stations. That means a single person's name or single company's name is on the articlea of incorporation for each one. Show me proof that Quest owns all the stations you mentioned. Got any documents? I'd like to see those. I'd like to be proven wrong. A single board of directors? Wow, that is funny at the very least. And the fact that you knew squat about RT's original company name says you did not do any real research. Plus you admit that you think some large corporation is doing nothing but ruin radio as we speak shows you have a bias against these stations. Your reply still echoes that you run amuck editing stuff on Wiki based on HEARSAY, and I've made corrections based on FACT. Oh, and why would I threaten you? I'm just a guy on the internet who pointed out your mistakes. Morpheuzzz 10:59, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Jerichopetilla.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Jerichopetilla.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:35, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
