Reynier de Muynck (1956-) is a Dutch painter born and based in Goes, the Netherlands. A fine artist specialising in fantastic realism, his work is varied and includes performances and rituals. His portfolio is very vast and includes drapes, frescos, Egyptian, Oriental and Sumerian civilisation, mythology and its origins, eroticism, naturalism, icons, landscapes, portraits and nudes.
Influences include Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, Hieronymus Bosch, Klimt, Dalí and the Pre-Raphaelites. He has engaged in many different projects in and around the environs of Goes and has been hailed as the Leonardo of Zeeland.[citation needed]
