[edit] Image tagging for Image:8FamousEnglishPeople.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:8FamousEnglishPeople.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] your reverts at {{English populations}}

could you stop your revert-warring and explain whatever point it is you are trying to make at Talk:English people? Also, can you stop overwriting Image:8FamousEnglishPeople.JPG? If for some reason you want to combine that collage with a selection of Black British mugshots, kindly do it under another title ("8FamousEnglishPeople" suggests eight famous English people, not "twelve famous people who lived in England at some point"). dab (𒁳) 17:17, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Duplication

Please do not replace the redirect at English (disambiguation) with a duplicate disambiguation page. There is no need to have two separate pages with essentially identical content. The page at English is already a suitable disambiguation page; and, based on the guidelines at Wikipedia:Disambiguation, the page should remain at that title with English (disambiguation) as a redirect to it. --Russ (talk) 14:07, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] January 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Breast, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. -MBK004 11:44, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Trashmen.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Trashmen.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 02:31, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
